Missional Opportunities
The most important job to Jessica is to fulfill the work the Lord lays on her heart.
In the hope of a future, one in which her past is the root system that gives her strength, Jessica wants the work of serving the Lord and others to be her and her sons primary focus.
Being blessed with the family businesses and the freedom to homeschool allow the Handworks to alter their schedules to answer when opportunities arise. Prayer and guidance from God establish their confidence in when to say yes, and when to stay home.
The most important need for these trips is prayer. He hears the prayers of the righteous and those prayers help keep them in his presence and lifted up. Please join us in prayer for these trips. It is such an encouragement!
Furthermore, and still very much needed, is financial support. Each opportunity comes with unique funding needs. It is through the gifts of others that these missions can be met and with that comes the joy of having others partner in them.
On A Mission, In Albania
Information Coming
A week ago today I had my last of 33 radiation treatments! I packed up my hotel room, rang the bell, and came home. When I received the call from a doctor telling me I had cancer I was sitting in the living room of friends in Albania. God had sent me there, and God timed that call. That was Friday, July 27, 2018. On Friday, April 5, 2019 I finished n-i-n-e long, hard months of treatments in the morning, and confirmed my tickets back to Albania that afternoon.
