a 3 hour art & Scripture study
During this three hour group painting workshop we will ask the Lord to speak individually to each of us and identify what are the things in our life coming from Him and His word and what are the things that might be causing interference in hearing Him. As we focus on scripture we will ask Jesus to give us a visual representation of what he is saying to us in our painting.
This workshop is geared toward adults, although teenagers 14 years old and older may attend with a parent or guardian. Both adult and teen must be registered.
Angels & Watercolor
a full day art & scripture study
Learn what the scripture has to say about angels while learning the skill of using watercolors. In this full day course we will examine what the Lords words tell us about angels and compare what we observe to that which the world has dreamed up. When did God create the angels? Does He consider them His children? Do they have long flowing hair like in the figurines? Are they fat little naked babies with wings? When our loved ones die and go to Heaven do they become angels? We will discuss all of this and more while experimenting and playing with watercolors.
The Power of Knowing God
A3hour art & Scripture study
In this three hour group painting workshop we will dive into discovering Gods power through what his scriptures say. Knowing his power encourages us and refreshes our outlook on how much we can rest in that power and know that he is in control!
